Missed-call text back

# Missed a call? They get a text right away.

You can’t answer every call when you’re on a job. When a call slips by, GBPN texts the caller from your business number, so they know you’ll call back and don’t try the next business on the list.

How it works

## From missed call to warm lead.

1. 1

    ### Your greeting answers

The caller hears your business name, not your personal voicemail.

2. 2

    ### Your phone rings

If you can, pick up. If you’re on a job, let it go.

3. 3

    ### They leave a message

Your voicemail takes a message, and GBPN writes it out for you.

4. 4

    ### They get a text right away

A friendly text from your business number lets them know you’ll call back.

The details

## Friendly, never pushy.

### Your words

Write the message in your own voice, up to 1,600 characters. It comes from your business number.

### Once per call

Each caller gets the text one time per call. No repeat texts, no spam.

### Respectful

It never goes to blocked callers or to anyone who replied STOP.

Your number needs to be [registered for texting](https://gbpn.com/business-texting) first, which US carriers require. Then just ask, and we set it up for you, free.

## Missed-call text questions

What does the text say?

Whatever you like, up to 1,600 characters. For example: "Sorry we missed you! This is Whitfield Cleaning. We will call you back shortly."

Will a caller get the text more than once?

No. GBPN sends it once per call.

Does it text blocked callers or people who opted out?

No. GBPN never sends it to blocked callers or to anyone who replied STOP.

Do I need anything else for it to work?

Your number needs to be registered for texting, which US carriers require for every business. GBPN walks you through it. After that, ask us and we set up the missed-call text for you, free.

Do I need the app?

No. The text sends on its own, whether or not you use the GBPN app.
