Please read this Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") carefully before using the gbpn.com website and services (the "Service") operated by GBPN LLC ("us", "we", or "our").

This policy exists for a practical reason: abusive traffic gets phone numbers flagged and blocked by carriers, which hurts every legitimate business using the network. Keeping the rules tight is part of why GBPN numbers stay clean and deliverable.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by this policy. If you disagree with any part of the policies then you do not have permission to access the Service.

Illegal Use

Compliance with all applicable laws is required

As a user of the Service, you agree not to use it in a manner that violates any local, state or federal law. This includes caller ID spoofing, impersonation, and any deceptive practice.

Harm to Others

Protecting others from harmful content and activities

You agree not to use the services to harm others, including but not limited to minors.

Threats & Harassment

Maintaining respectful communication standards

You agree not to use the service for abusive, profane, libelous, slanderous, threatening or otherwise harassing calls.

Fraudulent & Automated Activity

Preventing spam, scams, and automated abuse

You agree not to use the service to make or participate in fraudulent activity including financial scams.

Do not send or facilitate the transmission of spam, automated calls, or automated messages. Such activity includes, but is not limited to:

  • Sending promotional calls or messages to a large number of users, or sending messages or calling in bulk
  • Sending messages via an automated process, such as a script
  • Sending unwanted or mass solicitation
  • Placing calls in violation of laws prohibiting unsolicited marketing calls (e.g., "do-not-call" laws, the TCPA, and the Telemarketing Sales Rule)
  • Messaging without recipient consent, or in violation of carrier 10DLC registration requirements
  • Data mining any web property to find phone numbers
  • Selling, exchanging, or distributing to a third party the phone numbers of any person without such person's consent
  • Inflating call traffic (e.g., traffic pumping, international revenue share fraud)

Unlimited Calling Restrictions

Fair use guidelines for unlimited calling service

Unlimited calling is intended to be used by small businesses with normal usage requirements. Unlimited minutes may not be used for any of the following prohibited uses:

Prohibited Business Uses

  • Call centers
  • "Hotlines" or 900 numbers
  • Sports-line numbers
  • Dispatch centers
  • Party lines

Technical Restrictions

  • Trunking or forwarding to PBX systems
  • Conference calling systems
  • Open line monitoring/intercom
  • Excessive outbound dialing
  • System resource abuse

Fair Use Guidelines

  • Use for normal personal or small business purposes only
  • No spamming or blasting (100+ bulk voicemails in short periods)
  • No use that causes inordinate burden on system resources
  • Compliance with all applicable telecommunications laws

Additional Prohibited Uses

Other activities that violate this policy

Intellectual Property

You agree not to use the service to transmit any material that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary rights of a third party.

Personal Data Collection

You agree not to use the service to collect, or attempt to collect, personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent.

Reselling Services

You agree not to resell GBPN's Services without GBPN's express written authorization.

Call Recording

You are responsible for complying with call recording consent laws in your state and your callers' states before recording any call.

Policy Enforcement

How violations are handled and consequences

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:

  • Warning: first-time or minor violations may receive a warning
  • Service limitations: temporary restrictions on calling or messaging features
  • Account suspension: temporary suspension of service
  • Account termination: permanent termination as described in our Terms of Service
  • Legal action: cooperation with law enforcement for illegal activities

Policy Changes

How updates to this policy are handled

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace this policy at any time. All changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised policy. If you do not agree to the new policy, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
